1st Unreleased Track
(SicWitIt Diss)
Welcome to the Resurrection Of Hip Hop
There was a time when you could listen to an album and like or love every song on it. When you didn't get annoyed by hearing the same songs over and over on the radio. Hip Hop is dead and the rap of the 2000's is something I believe many artist aren't so proud to be a part of. Hip Hop is dead.
Most of the mainstream music that the mass amount of people hear is only bought, if bought at all, because of the love that people have for the instrumentals that rappers are performing to. The music that makes them dance. The lyrics that the rappers of this age use are played, boring, and lame when it comes down to it. Not many rappers are original anymore. I would say there is only a handful of talented rappers in the mainstream industry today.
Around 2000 was the same time I really began to consider myself a rapper. Before than all I had ever done was freestyle, but around 2000 or so I began to write lyrics and think about what I was saying. I began to battle rap online and around my area, defeating most who tryed contesting. I was put on a mix tape around 2003 or 2004 hosted by Dj Madd Quiks. Alot of battle tracks and freestyles. This album is available at soundclick.com click the link on this page for Dj Madd Quiks home page, where you can download the entire mixtape free.

Working With Dj Madd Quiks
A few years back I was fortunate enough to spend some time working with Dj Madd Quiks. I felt like him and I really shared the same taste. At the time I worked with Dj Madd Quiks I was envolved in the battle rap scene and by this point was doing it mostly online. I became a hall of fame member on Mrlif.com (RIP) and did a little battling here and there. Dj Madd Quiks had the idea of putting together a mixtape which would be a compilation of songs, battles, and freestyles from artists around the world. He gathered the tracks from the NET and produced the mixtape "TheDotCom". I was the start of the show as he hosted a couple of me battles and a few songs with my group at the time Grip Techs aka GT and my long time cypher man BlackGhost, who I also battle on the album (just for fun).
Dj Madd Quiks has made the whole Mixtape available for free to download. So check it out. Some sample tracks are also available below.
Be sure to leave some feedback.
